Bamboo is smooth and luxuriously comfortable - At a microscopic level, bamboo fibre has a round surface.  Because of this, it’s very smooth and sits perfectly next to the skin.Bamboo clothing is something special. It drapes like silk, it feels as soft and good as silk, but it is more practical because it is durable and much less expensive and versatile.Clothing that looks good, feels good and is good for the environment!

Bamboo clothing is catching on fast; just ask artist-couturier Linda Loudermilk who featured images of tree branches at her Paris runway show, signifying the launch of her precedent-setting luxury eco line, which included an array of bamboo-fiber apparel.Super soft yet durable bamboo fiber is softer than the softest cotton, has a natural sheen to the surface and feels similar to silk or cashmere.

In fabric form it retains this unique, remarkable property.  It’s 3-4 times more absorbent than cotton.  It 'wicks' away moisture from the body which then evaporates, keeping you - naturally - drier and more comfortable.

This substance bonds tightly with bamboo cellulose molecules during the normal process of  bamboo fibre growth.  This natural feature is retained in fabric form.Antibacterial: Unlike other antibacterial fabrics, which require a chemical treatment (and are often irritating and hyper allergenic to the skin), bamboo fiber fabric and yarn are naturally bacteriostatic and require no harmful chemicals. The fibers contain an agent,  bamboo kun , that prevents bacteria from cultivating on it thereby inhibiting body odor. The naturally occurring bacteriostatic property also helps prevent cultivation of yeasts, molds and fungus on your clothes and on you!. 97.3 % against Staphylococcus Aureus in 24 hours

In addition, tests by the Japanese Textile Inspection Association found that, even after fifty times of washing, bamboo fabric still possessed these functions.

As the fastest growing plant in the world, bamboo grows to its maximum height in about 3 months and reaches maturity in 3-4 years.  It spreads rapidly across large areas. Because of this, bamboo is known to improve soil quality in degraded and eroded areas of land.

If organic clothing made from bamboo becomes popular, it means more bamboo plantations, which means more photosynthesis and less greenhouse gas.  “The greatest challenge facing mankind” would get just a little easier.

Synthetic performance fabrics are made from petrochemicals, a non-renewable fossil fuel. They go to make clothes which get smelly really quickly.  Organic clothing made from bamboo is nature's answer to our needs for everyday fabric, in an environmentally sustainable form.  It's just our luck that it's so much better as well!

İt is fact that global warming will bring big issues to our future and unfortunately one of the reasons of global warming is mixing of chemical fertilizer, pesticides and harmful materials which are used in textile production milestones blindly. Harming both the workers in the cotton growing industry  & the environment.
